• KEW was established in 1999 as a branch of Al-Kalthomi establishment

• KEW is considered as one of the leading environmental establishments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

• KEW is is certified by the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) and by the Ministry of Commerce since 2000 to conduct:

1. Environmental consultation services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

2. To treat and dispose hazardous wastes.

Since its establishment, KEW has conducted several EIA studies around the Kingdom, including studies for Aramco, Gulf Joint Operations and Aqeed El-Aroos in Half Moon Bay.

Ghunan Environmental Center (G.E.C) which is managed by KEW is used for dealing with hazardous waste in terms of managing, treating and dumping.
